We had a Paranthas Thali (which comes with Onions in vinegar, pickle, black daal, raita and chhole) and yellow daal-rice, paneer bhurji, and had lassi & matka kulfi after. Each of these was very tasty and there no reason why we wouldn't go there again before we leave! This place is it for the true taste of Amritsar!

Had visited the place for breakfast with my friends and tried their aloo Paratha with butter and simply loved it. Also tasted their chole kulcha but found it to be ok. A good place to try.

whenever we visit Amritsar we make sure to have a meal at this dhaba. They serve amazing food specially they aaloo kulchass with chole or the bhaingan Ka bhartha.. The ambience of the place is not very great and is very basic but tht is how a Dabhas normally are.. Must visit this place for amazing food options

The place is little constrained, however that can be disregarded once you have eaten from this place. Some of the famous delicacies are Dal Makhni, Karahi Paneer, Kulchas and Amritsari Chole.

Delicious and original food. They are known for a couple of special dishes. You might want to try choley and dal makhni. Or just ask for one of the platters (thali) to try many different dishes. Their sweet lassi is also superb. The ambiance is lacking.. it doesn't look so clean, and I won't even mention the bathrooms. But the... More

I visited the restaurant on 19th November in search of the taste, I had some years back but found that only the name is remaining taste is missing. When we entered the restaurant, which is walking distance from Darbar Sahib, restaurant was full to its capacity. We only later... More

Visited with my wife and six months old baby. This place is very close to Golden temple and next to the brothers dhaba. The katara jaimal singh clothe market is also in walking distance from this place. Food was good. Their firni was great.

I belong to Indore which is well known for it's food. My expectations from Amritsar is high. However this is an average place in terms of ambiance and food was also okay. I believe the taste was not justifying the high rates they charge for food.
