Set just opposite the end of walking street, we have noticed the flag a few times as we passed. It's always seem to have several regulars in and was playing great music. Best pub atmosfer i Koh Phangan with good assortment of (cheap as well)drinks and really nice staff taking good care and giving best service possible. Free pooltable big bonus.

Great unpretentious bar with cheap ice cold ale and with always a friendly face from the Staff what more can you want. Have spent many an afternoon there ‘sinking a few’.

It was close ending up in a mess... Drunken and very aggressive idiots (farang, what else) can destroy your day here... I was sitting as guest close to the computer and helped as DJ / YouTube Jukebox... (just playing another people's music, why not...) until one of the daily customers wanted to attack me, because I asked him to wait... More

I spend many a happy hour in this establishment for the following reasons: Sam, Tong and Ooi are fantastic hosts. Frequented by friendly locals, off all types including Bikers, Lawyers, Artisans and Poets. Drinks are reasonably priced. Pool table is free - ball in hand rules. I live on this island now and wow what a place, i often drop into the Flag for a cool beer ,which are keenly priced ,compared to some of the other establishments, including the resort you might be staying in . Walk straight across from the pier and you'll find the Flag hosted by Sambo. Good craic, good music and cheap beer Have a few and then rent you motorcycle next door at Kate Bike Hire. Oh yeah and don't forget to ask to see Sambos four toes!!!!

a locals bar run by a real nice guy ,keep up the good work sambo , very close to the port of tong sala so easy access if you want a quick drink on the way into kp or leaving the island

Where do we start, we have just left koh panghan and we usually wait to get home before we do our reviews, but this couldn't wait!! What a place and what a view! The view is on a par to the landlord Sambos whit and humor! Went here most nights whilst in koh panghan (7 days) the landlord doesn't drink... More
