The food is good not special, the service is slow don't go if you're starving you'll not be served instantly. The situation and the view are amazing along with the stuff

One waiter sat us down with a menu then seemed to go on a break, it was about 10 minutes before another waiter found us to take our order. The harira soup had zero flavour, it tasted like hot water. The meat and vegetable tajine was fine. Our juice and tea were simply forgotten, we never received them... Avoid this... More

We had an excellent dinner here, possibly better than any of the 10 or so meals that we had in Marrakesh (which were also all very good). Highly recommended.

You probably had by now your share of Tajine, haven't you? Go for that Tajine aux Anchois (Anchovies tajine) , surprisingly delicious. If you are not ready for fish try their goat specialty, the Tahliya. Superb!

We went at the end of the day - there was a fair amount on the menu that wasn't available but what we did have (beef tagine, one with veg and one with chips and dates) - was delicious.

We had some lunch and diner at the restaurant at the square. The service was nice and friendly. The coffe was very good and the couscous also. It's one of the few where you can sit inside where it's warm. They don't use proppers on the square.

Situated in the main square of the old part of town, directly opposite the old recently-restored castle, Morisco had been recommended to us by our tour operator. This part of Chefchaoeun is a mega-tourist trap (much like the entire town, in truth) and it provided a good meal, but only so far. I had a goat tagine, with prunes, almonds... More

Three meals here, and each was either very good or excellent: it is the cleanest of the restaurants on the square with a good selection of the usual, but the standout - one of the best dishes we had anywhere, any time - was the unbelievably good goat tagine with dates, raisins, honey and almonds. Be a bit patient with... More

They tricked us about what they had on the menu to get us to sit down at one of their upstairs tables. Apart from that the service was extremely slow. The view however is quite special. Have a drink here but i wouldnt recommend eating !

Tastey breakfast, great coffee. Coffee was 12dh though. We had the bean soup (can't remember the name of it), our toddler loved it.

Thank Andy S
