We have had 4 meals here over the past few days. Good food very friendly staff. Good value for your money. Food is cooked from scratch so do not expect fast service.

We rented a quad bike for the afternoon for 40 USD including fuel and the service for this was great. No problems when returning the bike and we had a great time exploring merida and around. Much better option than a scooter and safer than...More
We walked up the beach to this place when we were staying at Xalli. Although the dining area was a little dim after dark and the music seemed a bit loud, there was a nice beach breeze blowing through and the food was tasty!
Comedor Gloriana is a real find. Delicious home cooked Nicaraguan dishes in a fabulous location, on the beach on Playa Santo Domingo with fabulous views of Lake Nicaragua and the Volanoes. The resaurant opens to the beach and gentle breezes blow in. And the food...More
Comedor Gloriana is located right on the Santo Domingo beach. Not easy to get to from the road, but great access from the each. The owner, Juan Carlos, will arrange horseback riding, motorcycle rental, or anything else available on the island for you. Pleasant place...More

What's not to like about eating right on the beach? The food wasn't anything spectacular, but it's a comedor right? Just meant to be reasonably tasty.
The place has a relaxing atmosphere and great prices for plates full of food. The little girls are smiling and giggling and enjoying life while mom and dad and grandma all provide good food and service. Juan Carlos rents motorcycles in Santo domingo.
