Lived at an AirB&B close by for 10 days - went there every night, awesome local beer and probably the best mussel dish in town for only five euros. All other meals reasonably priced Next to a basketball court so lots of locals having a...drink or meal whilst the kids play basketball . Staff very friendly and helpfulMore

My husband and I come to Herceg-Novi for a couple of days. We both are seafood lovers and we were looking for mussels. That small, lovely place was recommended to us by server in one other restaurant. It was really busy when we came, but...the waiter was nice and the food came really fast! We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious! ☺️ The prices are lower than in some other restaurants we visited. We will go back every time we will be in this area.More

Restaurant has grubby feel to it, table cloths not changed frequently and menus tatty. My husband had bruschetta which was ok- average really. I had Caesar salad which had dubious brown dressing on it and chicken looked suspect to say the least. Some pieces didn’t...look cooked through and salad very watery. We weren’t ill after the food but my husband felt it after a visit to the loos! Won’t elaborate further other than to say avoid it! Service not great either, took a while for everything to arrive.More

We had food here one evening in September and we loved it. We ordered muscles, fried small fish, and scampi. The food was delicious and very good value for money. The location is also great, just by the entrance to the old town.

The Konoba Karaca is set on a nice place and is good for family visits. We ordered mussels and French fries. The mussels are steamed in white wine with finely cut onions and served with a sprinkle of herbs. It tasted very good. Only downside...is they didn’t remove the mussels “beards”. The fries were from the freezer bag, but a part of the portion was not fried well or from earlier on - they were almost cold, soft and flabby. This is a shame and really breaks down the lunch. Service is kind.More

The food was very good, tasty and cheap. We ate fish soup, mussels, cevapi. Our relatives tasted roast fish, mussels and grilled squids. We were enjoyed and felt as at home.

The main town squares feature pizza pizza pizza. This place has good real food. The mussels are great value and very tasty. I had grilled vegetables and fries for sides. All portions were very good. Friendly relaxed service. I recommend. Wish I’d seen it earlier...in my stay.More

Very laid-back, cool place with a cozy atmosphere. The prices are quite affordable, the quality of the food is satisfying, as well as the service. The only thing I wasn't very impressed with were the mussels-the portion was big, but there was no lemon or...adequate seasoning, so they were kinda tasteless. But overall, this is a good place which offers a very authentic spirit.More

This was enjoyable, no wifi, and a break away from the usual. The food is excellent and very good service. The prices were better than up in the church square or clock tower square also. Highly recommend this cafe.
