Thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and we were glad to have chosen this as our last evening meal of the holiday in Podgorica because it was fantastic. I loved the cosy atmosphere in the outside dining area with heat lamps and blankets. Special thanks to...our waiter Zeljko who was friendly and happy to explain different menu items to us, and Damjan who had a lovely little chat with us too! This is a restaurant that is run by knowledgeable, detail-oriented professionals, who serve very well-cooked food paired with tremendous wine. If they make suggestions about what to order, I recommend listening to them. The steak I ordered was the ribeye, and I am not exaggerating...when I say that it matches and exceeds the quality some steaks that I have had in European restaurants owned by household names. It was thick and juicy, with all the succulence, texture and fat content that we associate with the best ribeye. This was clearly a superior cut, and, at the risk of sounding like a snob, I was surprised to find it in a small city. If you are a wine fan and you appreciate waiters who are not bluffing, this is the place for you. I had the Stari Podrum Vranac, a local specialty which proves beyond all doubt that Montenegro can produce wines that are at least the equal of some of the better Rhone Valley Syrah-based wines. Note that I am not talking about mere Cotes Du Rhone or Cote Du Rhone Villages, but about specific appellations. In terms of price, it was not that bad relative to what I ordered. I spent a fair bit but that's because I wanted to see how good they were. In reality, the menu is flexible enough to eat quite well for a reasonable price.More

I had a soup of the day, which was beef soup. It was very good. And then I ordered fried squids, which could have been quite decent if not for the sand left in them. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. And,...as a big plus, there were no smoking clients (despite the official ban on smoking in public places including restaurants the locals do smoke almost everywhere). Although, perhaps this is simply because there were only a few people in the restaurant at that moment.More

Steak is always good but this place is the top-notch steak place of Podgorica if not the whole Montenegro. No matter what you want to do - just eat or spend good time with family, friends or have a business meal - just go there...and be sure you will be served the best way you can imagine. Located in a very good spot - in the city center, just next to the Independence Square. Cozy and with nice design. The moment you enter you feel special because of the service and attention you get and the friendliness of the staff. Waiters are there to help and they do so perfectly - our host was our best advisor and helped not only with choosing the meal but also with picking gluten free options that are a must with us. The meat itself was a feast to they eyes and the brain - state of the art meal that starter plate with prosciutto so surprisingly good and mind blowing in terms of taste. Additional cherry on the cake was sirloin with little stove with coal that works like a tiny barbecue on your table and you can additionally grill your meat to well done state. For those who are not too hungry prosciutto can be a meal of its own. Definitely a place to get back to - it is worth every euro spent!More
