Be adventurous and go eat a meal there in the front of the restaurant; not in the air conditioned section. If you want the Kottu, they only serve it at dinner. Great way to experience the local ambiance at this place.

Stopped in for a quick bite and enjoyed the samosas. They were flavorful and a nice change in flavor from the curries we've been eating the past few days.

We went here after the Kandyn dance show. Despite what other reviews said the service was very fast. Both of us enjoyed our food (vegetable Kabul and chicken Pathaia) and the passion fruit juice very nice. With other flat breads and water the total was only SRs780. Make it a stop before or after wondering around the nearby night market.

Really nice place with super friendly and efficient service. The food was yum. As is usual in many places here, there was no rice & curry for dinner, but there was a totally tasty vegetable kotthu with soya chunks. It was really good and extremely cheap given how enormous the portion was! Also, not too greasy at all, which I... More

The place didn't look great from outside or inside but the food was fantastic and great value. I wanted to try different foods and the waiter was really helpful recommending the Kabul.

So I have been to 3 main cities in Sri Lanka and this is the best I would say comparing the quality and the value for money . We were family there and ordered Kabul with chicken , meat beryani , vegetables noodles and fried rice with chicken . The food was tasty and a little spicy . We paid... More

Extremely poor service and had to ask twice for the menu. We ordered food and drink and only one dish came out, asked for the rest and it came out cold with the drinks. The vegetable paratha fry was a unique dish but super oily. We prefer the kottu as it is chopped finer.

Pros - awesome prices. Food quantity was good, quality was OK. Taste was also reasonably good and tasty. Food temperature was warm rather than hot. Cons - hygiene was lacking. Service was also a bit slow and very disjoint. Overall, despite the price point, I would suggest giving this place a miss. There are better places in the area for... More
