Not a great place to visit although the new renovation has done good to the property. The food is quite average and the prices are very high.

The renovation of the cafe is done tastefully, with attention to preservation as well as some modern touch. But, unfortunately, the food and service do not match the effort. You are much better off going to a place like 1135 AD for way better food and overall atmosphere (or even to nearby LMB for value and true Jaipur experience).

Given that this restaurant is inside the City Palace, you would expect they would cater mainly to people looking for a decent lunch. We stopped by to check out the menu before finishing our tour, and it looked really good. Finished the tour and went there to eat. Nobody came to seat us, or to get us menus. Eventually we... More

The Palace Cafe is now called Baradari and is a great place to be. They have done a wonderful job to make the place very contemporary and very sophisticated at the same time and we loved it! Our food was actually rather good but the place is not actually running at full speed so for instance alcohol is not yet... More

The Place Café is now renovated & is call "Baradari" The interiors have been elegantly redone , the menu is very limited but it has a nice flavour, for vegetarians Brie Pakora & Blue Cheese Salad are a must have... It's a pricy but worth it, to avoid the tourists rush the best time is to go in the evening... More

This is part of City Palace and that makes it special. The place cafe is under renovation. Most of the work is done and it's usable. But i think it will take a month or so to see it's final shape. The new interior is being done in old style walls. the total atmosphere is changed so the name... the... More

After being tired of long walks we were looking for a place where we can sit, relax and enjoy food. Ordered coffee and snacks. A bit expensive but worth.

Its a good place for a quick bite in the palace.. Its a quite place and bit expensive so you will not find this place very populated. Gives good feel of royal treatment. Visited in September 2013..
