Visit 2- 7th February 2020 Visited solo last Friday night ... Had my favourite sushi - crab meat n tobiko 🍣 Was reluctant to try the ramen after my previous not so good experience with the chasu ramen... but my server encouraged me to try...the Tantanmen and I’m so glad I did! It was delicious 🙌🏽 The dessert was the best end to the meal - chocolate 🍫 & water chestnut 🌰 roll From the cocktail menu I tried a plum based cocktail which was ok... total cost was 1800 including a 15% discount on food via dineout app... Visit 1 - home delivery - October 2019 Ordered two dishes from this outlet- home delivery... ordered via ZOMATO.. The crab meat tobiko uramaki was absolutely delicious and drool worthy 🥰😍 It’s a must order 👍🏼 Chasu ramen was not great... probably tasted better when you have it fresh and hot at the restaurant... ramen noodles were soggy though they were packed separately... packaging needs to be improved... one of the bags had torn and was leaking... it’s an expensive place... two dishes cost 1000...More

Spicy Edamame : Steamed edamame tossed in a crispy garlic flavour, a healthy, wholesome option for the table. Tip: ask for a milder version if you’re tolerance to spice is low. ⠀ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ Fatty Pho & Miso Butter Ramen : 10% noodles and 90%...love - Fatty Bao’s ramen is my go-to choice for a healthy and wholesome meal in a bowl. Miso Butter Ramen is a vegetarian broth with miso, spinach, and scallions, served with tempura vegetables on the side. Fatty Pho is an aromatic chicken broth with noodles, grilled chicken, egg, ginger and scallions. Both are mildly spicy, and rich in flavour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️More

The only outstanding thing about this place was the beautiful view of the Victoria memorial, which can be seen lit up at night. The food was very ordinary and to some extent a disappointment. The dishes are distorted from what the menu specifies and when...we pointed it out we were told that they had run out of ingrediants and so they served us something else without asking for our consent bit charged us for the dish in the menu.More

This restaurant has excellent food and a stunning view. You get to see the city from a great height. Try anything from the menu, you will probably not be disappointed. It is a good place to rest and have a chat with friends.

This place has a beautiful decor with Japanese style lanterns with dim lights presenting Japanese culture and philosophy which will capture the attention of each and every guest. Service is very good, quick and prompt. The waiters will suggest you to bay their best signature...dishes. There was no delay in serving any of the items which was the best part. Coming straight to food I always wanted to try Sushi from these kind of Asian and Japanese themed restaurants and finally I had the privilege of doing do, we ordered Spicy Tuna and Asparagus Sushi Roll. It was a coating of rice and inside it was Tuna fish along with veggies. It was a very very different dish and the experience was not so bad. Though I would like to taste it with meat in it. Next we ordered Pork Patty Bai which was an exquisite dish. The Bao's bread was so so soft and inside it was pork bellies, veggies, spicy sauce. Then we ordered Chicken Dumplings which was a good item, it was filled with shredded boiled chicken and spicy sauce. A very very unique Momo item! Lastly we ordered Katsu Pork Ramen which was arguably the best dish we had. It was soupy noodles with crumb fried pork, boiled egg, corn, spinach and boiled noodles. It was served with a special sauce. The soupy noodles tasted excellent and the taste was lip smacking. We wanted the same dish once again but unfortunately we were completely full. I would surely try their other Ramens some other time!More

Fatty Bao serves a range of Asian food, both veg and non veg, and strives to maintain their authenticity as much as possible. The service and ambience are good.

Ambience is too good. Take seat beside the window. It will give a great view of The 42 and adjoining kolkata. Food quality is awesome. Menu is very diverse. You get a lot of cuisines here including some of the rarest ones in Kolkata like...Asian, Japanese etc. A bit over priced.More

As my Dad is very fond of pork preparations which unfortunately aren't very commonly found in Kolkata s restaurants...I was cinfused as to where to go for dinner ...the icasocca was special for another reason being my hubby's birthday . I chanced upon the Fatty...Bao and decided to go for it . We were pretty satisfied at the end of the evening and their pork dishes are the winner hands down . A must go for all pork lovers !More

The place is very cozy and well groomed. The food is good. Non Vegetarian options are better than the Vegetarian ones. The waiters are good and well trained. The grilled fish was yummy!
