This was for the Piedade branch. It was our last dinner in Brazil so I was excited for Japanese food. Sushi in Brazil is usually incredible and there is a sushi pls e in Rio which I think is one of the best in the world. Well not Zen We chose the Rodizio - you order and they keep bringing... More

Zen brings the all you can eat concept for a fare price. You can choose among different plates that can please all the tastes. The problem with the restaurant is the space between the tables, it is almost impossible to have privacy in the restaurant. During the weekends, you can wait in line for long time to get a table.... In search of a decent sushi in Recife, I have tried just about all that is available. In Brazil you will be fooled by the advertisement and pay for garbage. This place is probably the worst and most expensive I have had in my life. Do not invest in eating here! The rolls are disgusting! I left before getting my... More

The food is really good, the consistency of the pieces is perfect, the price is good (was better in the past, but it's ok). The bad thing is that the place is small and a little tight.

You can eat Temakis in all over the world, but just in Zen, you can taste the Originais Temakis made of the typical Brazilian Flavor, go and get the Temakis made of the typical fruits of Northeast, you will not regret.

Zen is a well known japonese restaurant in Recife. Its food is delicious, I recommend it! The salmon and the other fishes used are fresh and new. And since sushi is a food that has a lot of uncooked meat, it's important that you have a clean place and healthy food. On the other hand, it's a small place and... More

Definitely a good place to go with friends. Is the best all you can eat japanese restaurant in town. Keep in mind that you might have to wait a while for a table and if you decide to go there in a weekend dinner after 7pm.

I've many times visited Zen restaurant, and one of it's characteristics is that you have to choose precisely a day of the week to go there, because if you choose to go on a weekend or friday you'll have to make a reservation, because they get really busy those days. It is a place to enjoy quality japanese food with... More

Totally lacking in atmosphere, sleepy service, food that should be sent back to the kitchen - but they can't do any better so what's the point.
