Cutts was recommended for Thanksgiving sides. My wife ordered the sides and we ate lunch and picked up the sides as we came back through Enterprise on our way home to Georgia. The lunch was one of the best I have ever eaten and the sides were hits at Thanksgiving dinner. The turnips were especially good.

If you drive to fast you will drive right by this hidden gem. But ask anyone in Enterprise where to go for a good meal and they will tell you Cutts. This is a home style food served in a cafeteria manner. Great sweet tea, and even better BBQ and Sea Food. I take all my family there, and they... More

this is one of my favorite home-style food restaurants in the Wiregrass area. They have a great lunch selection, and we order out from them about 2-3 times per month. Portions are very good and the food is well prepared.

Been eating at Cutts for 25 years. Food tastes have been consistent. Great BBQ, and sides, hard to beat! Have Thanksgiving dinner pretty much anytime. with turkey and dressing served often. The apples and yams are outstanding. Family in town? Take them here and your parents will love it. Great variety of southern style veggies and sides.

Living in south Florida you can't find good southern cooking anymore. Went to a place in Punta Gorda Florida that advertised itself as a southern restaurant but it is not, it is a pretender. Cutts on the other hand is the real deal. If you are looking for a true taste of the South look no further. Maybe if I... More

Not too fond of the mashed potatoes or green beans, both taste vinegary. But I do love the coconut cream pie.

The mashed potatoes are too runny for my taste but the hamburger steak is awesome and the gravy is delicious!!

This place was fantastic!!!! If you are trying to decide where to eat in Enterprise, AL, look no further. The worst part of the meal was when it was over. I'm trying to figure out how to pass through this town on future trips just so I can come back to Cutts!

Try the "All In Omelette"--it is fantastic. Also take a moment to look at all the memorabilia on the walls, including a tribute to eight teenagers that lost their lives in a tornado in 2007. The lady waiting on my wife and I knew all about it and shared a few stories about the local history. If you are in... More

If you are craving authentic southern cooking, visit Cutts Restaurant in the Enterprise, AL area. Our family restaurant offers a complete range of your favorite southern dishes. With 46 years of experience, all our menu items are also available for catering. Cutts Restaurant guarantees a delightful dining experience for your family and friends! Cutts Restaurant started out as Cutts Grocery back in March 1967, in Level Plains (pictured above). Hubert and Pearlie Bell Cutts, with their children, Larry and Lou Ellen, bought a full line country store with meat market, gas pumps, groceries and even a barber shop, There weren't many places to eat so the Cutts invented the now famous Cutts Chili Dog, thus beginning Cutts Restaurant. In 1971, the family sold the grocery store in Level Plains and they decided to build some poultry houses. The Cutts opened Cutts Snack Bar in Enterprise in 1972. It was an immediate hit. They expanded their menu to include all sorts of short order sandwiches and side orders. As time went on, Hubert and Pearlie Bell decided to retire. In 1979, Larry and Ellen bought the snack shack. In 1980, they moved the snack bar down the street to its present location. What is now just the kitchen was the entire restaurant. They expanded the menu and operating hours. “Cutts,” as most people call the restaurant, was doing great. In 1987, Larry and Ellen decided to add a large dining room and open a buffet for lunch. It was a hit. The buffet featured country cooking - four meats, 14 vegetables and a lot of desserts. The new dining room seated 160 people In 1992, due to his health, Larry retired. His son Rick, with wife Liane, bought the restaurant - the third generation of Cutts. The parking lot was expanded, new equipment purchased and a catering service launched. Hours expanded from 10AM - 2PM to 8AM - 9PM, including a late breakfast and dinner buffet. The entire family is still heavily involve in the day-to-day operation of the business.
