Love the food and the drinks here! I seem to order the same thing every time I visit because it's so good that I haven't been able to make another choice yet. Nice friendly staff too which is an extra bonus.

It was early November and the weather was still warm enough to eat outside. I remembered seeing this place and actually decided to eat there based on outside seating. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I would certainly eat here again!

Very friendly people, interesting food, creative drinks and just a fun evening with friends. Food was very good and we enjoyed it. ...especially the corn and tamales.

Went with a large group for dinner. They fitted us in which was fine, but the food was not great, and the service was so slow. For a communal starter we ordered guacamole and tortilla chips, but after much delay the provided very greasy strange chips. We sent them back and they admitted they were havibg trouble making chips -... More

I've been to Little Donkey on a few occasions. The tacos are good, the fried chicken is good but the brisket in the quesadilla I had was absolutely top notch. As a person who smokes meats and has had some of the best brisket that Texas has to offer, the meat was cooked perfectly. It had some signature bark, passed... More

This is not your daddy's mexican food /fried chicken place. The food is all 'from scratch' in their kitchen. It is flavorful and tasty. Some of the offerings are spicy hot, so if you don't want hot ask your server for recommendations. I had the steak tacos.. the corn tortillas are homemade and very good. The steak and filling great.... More

After hearing everyone rave about this place my wife and I decided to try it. We met for lunch to see what all the fuss was about. The service and the food were amazing! The green chili dipping sauce was so good I asked if it could be purchased. The atmosphere is casual and the wait staff was fantastic. We... More

I have been wanting to try this place for about 2 years so on a recent business trip I drove over. There's allot going on in this area so parking was sparse but I found a spot, walked in and was immediately seated. Love the décor. Michael was our server and he provided excellent advice and information on all the... More

The ambiance and comfort level us great. There is a limited but decent beer list, some bottled and some on tap (including local craft beer offerings). They rightly take pride in their Bourbon offerings, and can talk glowingly about them the way some people do about single malt scotch. The food is okay, especially some of the Taco offerings or... Our recent visit to Little Donkey was on a Tuesday evening shortly after 5:00. We don't usually go that early, but we learned at this visit that it's much easier to find a parking place at that time of day! Tables were plentiful as well. We knew just what we wanted, so when Brooke brought our requested waters, she took... More
