Everything's fine. Except for the food. And do not expect any other drinks..they serve only barley lemon and lemon juice. The chicken is way over cooked which to certain people may be fine. But the colour is stained this is the result of bloody chicken in the pot while being boiled. And the floating contaminants not sieved. Thumbs down. Never... More

Be prepared to eat chicken rice balls, because that is all they serve with the chicken. There was a short queue when we arrived, sat down at the table within 15 minutes. There is no menu, there is just one dish, Hainanese chicken and Chicken rice ball. Depending on your group size, they bring you a plate of Hainanese Chicken... More

Every time I came across this shop, the crowd is always there. FInally, I made up my mind to try it for the first time as I don't like crowded place. The rice ball was as cold as ice......which spoiled my appetite. The steam chicken was not as smooth as it should be. The gravy is not as tasty as... More

The rice ball is very nice, so nice that it can be consumed by itself. But the chicken is far below average, the queue is long as it is located just right in the middle of tourist attraction, but I will not queue for the food.

There only had half chicken and whole chicken for us to order. Half chicken, 2 plates rice ball and 1 Chinese leong shui; cost us Rm28. For me was not valuable since the taste so so, rice already cool nothing special to eat. Not Recommended.

Rice balls are cold already when it's served, probably due to overwhelming number of people lining up (another famous chicken rice ball shop wasn't open today), so the rice balls were prepared beforehand. Chicken is served warm, but it tastes just like other chickens sold is other places, nothing special. When I asked 'how to order', the person-in-charge rudely responded... More

the place is a regular restaurant serving mainly hainanese chicken and rice balls. Mind you they only serve minimum portion of 1/2 chicken and 5 rice balls. So for solo traveller, you should brace yourself and eat all that chicken on your own if you still want to try it alone--just like what I did. So it's preferably better for... More

We were looking for Hainanese chicken rice -that type with the usual flavored steamed rice, thick soy sauce, chili and grated ginger in sesame oil. We ended up at Chung Wah as the place was right at the junction of Jonker and the river and was recommended in the hotel list of attractions. We came early at about 11:30 so... More
