Excellent ambience and setting - lots of art on the walls and lots of different corners to sit in. Very central. Great place for lunch or some great cake!

Everything is nice here. Deco, staff, food, coffee! Its all good. I recommend a visit! Note:- laksa is accompanied by this chillies on the side, even if u dont take chillie, try a bit of it. It ups the level of the dish. 😁

If you're looking for a nice coffee shop with a selection of locally sourced coffees and cozy surroundings, look no further. The ice blended coffees are based on regional variations, the Penang option was heavenly. Food was average and lacked overall flavour. The chicken pongteh was very standard. The large selection of juices was nice and it's vicinity to Jonker... More

i expect good food and coffee after reading all the good reviews but i was kinda disappointed since nothing to fancy about this restaurant. the famous coffee is overrated.

My friends and I made a stop here to try the regional coffee Calanthe is known for, and we were not disappointed. We had the ice blended Penang and Malacca Coffee, and the Homemade Sour Plum juice but the Malacca Coffee had to take the cake, the taste was good and different from your usual ice blended coffee. This coming... More

a dense vine envelopes the front roof of the cafe, overhangs the front creating a thick vegetated area. i stopped for a latte and the one served was local style in a long glass, drowned in milk. several little rooms branches off the main and the interior was a mix of art and local bric a brac all put together... We made a stop here due to the fact that they offer 13 regional coffee and to kill some time before we could check in our hotel. We ordered Melaka and Penang coffee as well as the homemade plum juice. While the juice was a great letdown, the coffee were delicious, particularly the Melaka coffee. My company who often steered... I went with my friend for lunch there. We were amazed at the decor & how artistic every piece is put in place. Though the choice of food is not that many, but what we had were delicious. Will definitely come again.

Good Laksa but I miss the laksa leaves(Persicaria odorata) so important in this typical Melaka dish. The art decoration of the cafe good with their selection of coffee interesting. A place to chill out from the hot sun and situated very near the famous Jonker Street.

Staff were very friendly and service were great. Quaint cafe with good choices of food. The Fench toast and gula Melaka toast were both delicious.

Thank Jin G
