Had an authentic Indian breakfast of idli and thosai. Prices were so low I dont inderstand how they keep the shop open. The Respatex tables and green plastic chairs gave it a look of the 70s. Will be coming here for breakfast every day of my stay in Malacca.

we are vegetarian South Indian and this place is really underwhelming. The food is just okay. It's not bad, but it's not flavourful either. If you're craving lunch on a banana leaf then maybe check it out, but don't expect tasty food. I wouldn't go back. The place has a lot of meat but was easily accommodating to vegetarian.

We have been returning to Selvam for Chinese New Year breakfast. Love the apam with coconut milk and brown sugar. Service is fast and friendly.

We had Saturday dinner with some variety of things, with lime juice and nescafe coffe.. their Lime Juice is very cheap and of great taste.. Need to admit that the lady who serve us was friendly and... More

For having been in India many time, yes it taste India, on Tamil Nadu side. So the food was good, as was the service and the price. Just the lassi, I wouldn't recommend it...There is no ice in a lassi, and no milk..So try something else

Food was okay only and edible. Lots of improvement need to be done. Cleanliness is not satisfactory. They were moving serving tables while customers are still eating and hit a customer's table with food without even apologizing.

Unfriendly Staff :) but bee hoon goreng was good. Ordered Roti Canai which was so so. Ginger tea above average :) Will not return unless stay at The Pine hotel again.
