Shanghai was our family of four's last stop on a three city trip to China. After flying from Xian and walking though much of Shanghai that day, we were exhausted and frankly, ready for something other than Chinese food. We had read such good things...More

This is one of the best restaurants in Shanghai. It is literally on the Bund with sweeping views of the city skyline and river. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly and efficiently, and immediately provided with the tuna mousse spread and paper thin bread. The...More

Everything was good, BUT (and this is a big but) if you’re expecting to be blown away, you may be disappointed. It’s well executed French cooking, but it’s classic through and through, meaning you could easily get the same dishes elsewhere. That being said, it...More

Was a one of my favourite restaurant but food quality was disappointing since last few visits. Although affordable pricing for supper but that is not what I am looking for. Did not go back since last visit.

I love this place. Everything about it. The design, the music, the food. It was all sensational. It was my birthday while I was there and a huge bombalaska was brought to the table featuring sparklers and extra loud music. I had fish for dinner....More

Love the decor and the salmon carpaccio prepared on side. Bread is great, I couldn't stop eating it. Cocktail was perfect and the service was knowledgeable and friendly Great place to go for a Sunday brunch

I only went there for a drink at the terrace overlooking the bund, river and Pudong skyline. Great view and great time.

Saturday brunch- service was slow, unable to cater for vegan member of party, very overpriced for quantity of dishes which all came out at different times. Manager tried to compensate and was professional but still would not recommend.

The Bund
While there are certainly many other “bunds” in the
world, “the Bund” refers to Shanghai’s famous
waterfront. The area’s Gothic, Art Deco and Beaux Arts
monoliths were built when it was part of the Shanghai
International Settlement run by the British and
Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has
endured over time and is now found in the five-star
hotels, luxury brand boutiques and expensive

Mr & Mrs Bund – Modern Eatery by Paul Pairet. A modern French eatery. Relaxed chic atmosphere, heritage Bund location.Mr & Mrs Bund is French, in the manner of Chef Paul Pairet: born, traveled, and globally stamped. Contemporary, but not stuffy. Relaxed, without sacrificing an ounce of chic. We serve populist French favorites, through Pairet's looking glass. Service is family-style, recast for a modern table, and the wine list includes 32 wines by the glass. We riff on classics, we dish up comfort cuisine, and we serve it just like you would Sunday night dinner – sharing-style, and with plenty for seconds. It's a straightforward menu that takes simple French classics to start, and then let you add and play. Mash-ups: not just for potatoes and DJs anymore. Hours: Dinner: 5:30pm to 10:30pm (Monday to Sunday); Late Night Supper: 11:00pm to 2:00am (Thursday to Saturday)Accolades: No.43 in 2013 & No. 76 in 2014 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants & 51-100 list; No.7 in 2013 & No.11 in 2014 by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants
