Located in an old home next door to where Jim Nabors grew up is a diamond in the rough. Absolutely one of the best filets I have ever had . I’m not a bread pudding fan at all but had read the reviews to not...More

I’ve visited Buttermilk Hill twice in the past month. First, it was for lunch with a group of friends on a Friday during Sylacauga’s Marble Festival. The eight of us tried different entrees and a couple of desserts and all were outstanding. We especially loved...More

Spent the night in Sylacauga and had dinner here. The filet was divine and my partner loved the lamb. Very friendly staff and chef. And Jim Nabor’s childhood home is next door! Fantastic dinner!

The owner/chef does a great job keeping up high standards for food and service - which can be a challenge in a small town where it's hard to attract and retain help. She waited on us and prepared excellent meals for six of us for...More

Passing through the area frequently, we've often wanted to try this unique restaurant. Just had the opportunity and what a gem. Besides being in a 115 year old southern home, which is a treat in itself, every single detail was attended to. White linen tablecloths,...More

This restaurant has amazing food. It is classic southern food, with slight twists that are amazing. There was nothing negative about the food. They do not give free refills this caught me off guard. Also, the house has a musty smell and the outside needs...More
