This place has really great food (unique) & they make it fresh. Honestly, anything you try will taste good. They make their own patties for the chickpea/quinoa burgers - but the burger we had was really fantastic and unique in taste (the crispy eggplant one...w/ balsamic vinegar because I can’t remember the name), the nachos were tasty, the burrito was yum too - great fries w/ seasoning, plata is and falafel balls. They’re pasta looks great too and next time would love to try dessert. It’s a hole in the wall place & the vibe is adorable. The servers make it fresh & raw.
Really recommend checking this place out!More
Delicious vegan restaurant. Lots of options. Healthy food. Gluten free options as well. Very affordable. Would definitely eat here again. Come if you’re looking for all vegan restaurant or even if you’re not vegan!
We have visited many vegan restaurants and vegan-friendly restaurants in San Jose these past two weeks. Many have been very good and excellent.
This restaurant was overpriced with by far the least attentive and friendly service.
The food was improperly prepared and the fries were...soggy and flavorless. My wifes simple requests to leave the condiments on the side of her burger and the dressing on the side of her salad were ignored. I couldn’t get catsup after requesting it. And the bun here is weird, Gia Vegan burger blew it away.
I hate writing negative reviews, but it is hard to say much positive about the place.More
Amazing food and lo-do vibe.
My wife and I are here on April 7, 2021. Food is amazing, just like all the reviews say. It’s also got safe parking immediately across the street. We had our suitcases and more in the car and felt safe...leaving them behind.
Fabulous burgers, smoothies, juices, salads and deserts. Can’t recommend highly enough for lunch or dinner.More
The Chante burger was like the light at the end of the tunnel after a long day traveling! One of several creative veggie burgers on the menu: come by if you are tired of the standard black bean burger blah-blah. This is a cozy spot,...great for couples or families. Definitely worth the short taxi ride from the airport hotels. The staff were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcomed. We can’t wait to return for more delicious and healthy vegetarian food!More
It's a little hole in the wall with a good selection of vegan and gluten free options. I had the Portabella mushroom burger with patacones. Delicious, I'll def go back here. Very reasonable pricing for Costa Rica.
We just happened to find this spot on HappyCow and were thrilled to find out that it was 100% vegan!! We tried the veggie sandwich and burger with the gluten free option of using patacon (mashed plantains) as the bun and it was amazing!! The...fries were just a cherry on top, so well seasoned and yummy. They had many options that I wish we could've tried but we were happy to just at least have been able to try a few! I would recommend having colones on you to pay as sometimes they don't have enough change in American dollars to give you change back. It was literally a 12 min drive from the airport so super convenient! Don't be swayed by thinking you have to look in "San Jose" for eats by the way, this is waaaay closer and worth it!! Definitely recommend!!More
Just average. First I should say that the Cuya Colada was delicious with passion fruit, pineapple, hemp and coconut milk. But the chick pea burger was just so so. Not bad but not amazing. Kinda dry and it fell apart with each bite. The service...was very slow, even accounting for tico time. It was also extremely loud with the street noise so difficult to have a conversation while waiting for nearly an hour.More
I didn’t detect any in the bread which is quite an unusual bread. I’m sure the chef will be happy to leave onions off anything you order. I’m very allergic to papaya and it is ubiquitous in Costa Rica. At every place we ate... More
