Excellent restaurant with varieties of options, super recommended! With my partner we went two days in our stay in La Fortuna, reasonable prices approx 30-40 usd for two people.
They have all kinds of food, they make it fresh and they have a very good service from their staff.
They have a parking in the side area of the restaurant which makes it very comfortable and away from the center so the atmosphere is super relaxed.
Something important to consider not only in this restaurant but throughout Costa Rica, they take time to serve you dishes They do not live a fast life as we are used to some...

Hello Chante Verde, this place is the best restaurant in Costa Rica where we were, it is super nice, it is very well kept, the food is delicious, everything is very well decorated and it is super fresh, so much so that we went the three days that we stayed in Arenal, everything was super, I recommend it 100%, some friends from California recommended it to us since we have a restaurant, and we know how much it costs to have a place this nice, really congratulations, we only saw a sign that said something about chef Alexander, I want to congratulate you, you have a very beautiful and original place and the food is super delicious, the service from Marvin and Juan Carlos was very good, you can see that they like what they do, I like it, very friendly and fast in everything, however, last night Gabriela served us with a way that the truth is that dinner was not very nice, she had an angry face, she made us wait until she finished commanding the other tables, I called another lady who was there doing nothing or if she could help us and she told me to wait that she was Gabriela and after that this girl arrives with An angry face doesn't mean anything good. I own a restaurant and love the service from the guys the other days. They were friendly and smiling. That day, our food arrived before the drinks, and her partner was worried they weren't coming, but he was close to the bar, and I don't know if the girl isn't fast, but they arrived, haha. But this girl, Gabriela, honestly, made us guacamole at the table, and it was better if we hadn't ordered it. She was doing it in such an arrogant way that, let's say, I couldn't even imagine how she did it so badly.
The place is nice, the food is delicious, and the service is good, depending on who your waiter is. I would come back any time I vacation in Costa Rica. I recommend it 1000%.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! We got to go here because we are on the way to the law Fortuna waterfall and this was nearby and had good ratings. They had a fantastic menu with lots of options. It was a little bit of a fusion restaurant with some unique foodoptions and it was really good. We got the guacamole made at our table and then we got the fried rice I would recommend both of them.

Off the beaten path gem. If you like good food and drinks and great service, this place is for you.
You will find traditional Costa Rican food options, as well as creative pizzas, burgers, bowls, wraps, and more. We went here for lunch and dinner x 3. We really enjoyed the guacamole at tableside, salmon, burgers, pizza and bowls. Save room for dessert, the brownie is amazing. Aperol Spritz was a 10.
Vegetarian and vegan options as well. Shout out to the staff especially Juan Carlos and Charlie they definitely enhanced our experience.
Make a reservation, this place is very busy.

Absolutely great restaurant with an outstanding selection of food.
There really is something for everyone to eat here.
The dishes are all freshly prepared and only fresh ingredients are used. Quality is very important here.
So that you don't go hungry, there are also a variety of delicious cocktails.
The whole thing is rounded off by excellent service.
I can only recommend that everyone come and see for themselves, as it is definitely worth it!!

One of the most beautiful, tastefully decorated little gem. Most relaxing and fun atmosphere .
Fabulous, gracious and friendly service, delicious fresh flavoursome dishes with plenty of vegetarian/vegan options.
The place is reasonably priced and offers great value.
Clearly it is extremely popular and would recommend to make a reservation as the restaurant was full and had waiting on a weekday.
The dinner was absolutely fabulous and really memorable .

We had 2 take-away pizza’s from here.
We had high expectations because we got this place recommended by a local and it looks very nice!
We were kinda shocked when we finally opened the pizza boxes and found 2 very small pizza’s….
There was not an option to order a small or a big one, so we were kinda surprised that this apparently is the size they serve here.
Price is a bit high if you take the size in consideration…
They tasted good, but this left the experience a bit disappointing…

if you’re here on vacation from la or an equally gentrified area and are looking for tastes of home… this is it. i guess i can’t really understand why you’d come to costa rica, a place with such rich culture, and then eat at a place like this. very white-woman-boho chic. the drinks are good, the music is too loud, the food is extremely bland. pretty disappointing. this does not even measure up to much cheaper restaurants nearby. i can’t speak for those with dietary restrictions- from what i saw this would probably be a great choice for you! but if you don’t have to eat here, i wouldn’t. the two stars are for the very friendly and accommodating staff :)

Delicious and cute restaurant with great variety of healthy food and drink options. Was very busy in a Monday nt and the greater initially turned us away because we didn’t have a reservation but a waitress found us a table 5mins later. Entire family enjoyed the meal and cost was reasonable. Agree with another reviewer that the restaurant seemed to cater to Americans…exceeded our expectations.

Utterly frustrating place. Food took two hours to come (they forgot to place our order but didn’t accept it once!), no remorse from the server. Ran out of fries by the time they made our dish.
Entitled servers most likely owners or related to them. Food and drinks just wait at the counter till someone wakes up and realizes they need to serve it. Servers go to the main clerk to ask who the order is for. Disorganized, high headed and shameful.

We were recommended this restaurant by a few people, it’s a little out of the way but easy to access via Uber.
There was a pleasant vibrant atmosphere, the staff were very welcoming. We had made a reservation which is probably a good idea as it was quite busy.
We chose a lovely bottle of French blush wine and looked at the menu. A waiter presented us with a completely basket of freshly baked bred.
We weren’t in the mood for a formal three course meal. The burgers looked very tempting so unusually for us that’s what we went for.
We were subsequently presented with a very tasty burger.
I’m not sure if you have seen the movie Pulp Fiction, however, there are several references to burgers. At one point the Samual L Jackson
character, Jules famously says “Well, if you like burgers give 'em a try sometime. I can't usually get 'em myself because my girlfriend's a vegitarian which pretty much makes me a vegitarian. But I do love the taste of a good burger. Mm-mm-mm.”
The beef patty is grilled to your liking, the bread bun is home baked, the mayonnaise is home made, it was indeed a ‘tasty burger’.

Food and service was great. A local recommended that we get the tuna bowl and it was absolutely amazing, we felt the service was a little slow for there was a bunch of waiters and not a lot of people in the restaurant but its possible that was because they were setting up for a large group later in the evening. We would highly recommend eating here for at least one of your meals in La Fortuna.

This is a really charming restaurant. Nice lighting and hanging plants and off the main drag (although drivers come ripping down the road past the restaurant). The menu is very inventive and offers lots of options for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. Lots of different kinds of smoothies are offered, too, as well as beer and wine. My husband got the Mediterranean salad, which was very good, and I got the Portabello mushroom burger, made on great fresh baked bread, and served with very crisp fries that came with catsup and an interesting tangy sauce that was really good. The only flaw was the marinade on the portabello was a bit too salty, but overall a very good dish. They offered churros or brownie with ice cream for dessert, but unfortunately we were too full. Prices were fair and didn't break the bank. Service was good, and the waiters speak very good English for those of us too stupid to learn Spanish before going to a Spanish-speaking country! The restaurant seems to cater mainly to tourists, and while the waiters were efficient, there wasn't a lot of genuine warmth. I don't blame them, tourists can start to get on your nerves.

This is a gorgeous little restaurant. The food is really good quality, great atmosphere and very clean. Perfect for coeliac. Lots of gluten free options including gluten free beer! All allergens well marked on the menu. We had the poke bowls and came back for the burgers. Guacamole made fresh at the table was also delicious. It's a little out of town but on a nice road and only cost us 3 dollars in an Uber - worth the short trip.

The food is so fresh and delicious. We shared an Arabic appetizer and the keto salad. The beef in the keto salad was tender. All the vegetables felt like they just came out of their garden. The portions are large so you can definitely share if you don’t have a large appetite. The basil lemonade was so tasty and refreshing. I Do not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
