I never imagined finding a place as nice in the area, it's simply beautiful, the grounds, the lake, the view, amazing. The restaurant is beautiful as well, elegant and cozy, perfect for a nice meal or special occasion. The service is excellent, both waitress and waiter were very nice and efficient. For entreés we tried the banana soup which was... More

Staying at the hotel left little option for eating other than here, a situation which we were very pleased with.

The host manager Jana met us when we arrived and let us know that she was in touch with our rafting company and filled us in on the details and then told us that once we got settled we should go out and look at the Turrialba Volcano erupting in the background. The setting is beautiful and reminiscent of a... More

Anything on the menu was great. The kids even liked it- and could get kid friendly food. Nice wines and cocktails too. Kind of a romantic feel. quaint and friendly. Would eat here again.

Interesting menu options, considerable variety. Lovely dining room, and the food is very pleasing both to the eye and the palate. The staff was attentive as well.

I stopped by for lunch after horseback riding and was served a delicious Costa Rican meal outdoors by the sparkling clean swimming pool. The light breeze, sun, rustling leaves, and cicadas made me question why I was living in a big city. The manager Jana was also extremely welcoming and even helped me heal my nasty bug bite with some... More

The hotel itself is very beautiful by night when we visited for dinner. Our dinner was delicious and the service was good. I ordered a steak ends and it was cooked to perfection. Possibly the best steak of 5 I had in Costa Rica. Matched only by a coffee steak in Jacó My wife had a fresh grilled fish with... More

We were driving in the area, and stopped by for lunch, as the review in the Moon guidebook was positive. We weren't disappointed. Really excellent main courses - and the desert of coffee cake and ice creams was really impressive - visually and to taste ! We were lucky to be able sit outside near the pool for our meal.... More

Every dish is served as a piece of art. Flavory and intensively colorful, the ingredients are magically mix by the chef. Excellent service. We visited Turire after a long hiking trip to Guayabo Arqueological Park. It was a beautiful day. We missed the beautiful display of tropical flower arrangements in the lobby and notice gardens and premises showed some lack... More
