They have yummy treats and local items. Not a fancy place. Perfect for popping in and grabbing a treat as we walked through town. We highly recommend it!

This is a good bakery. Lots of options. However, as a North American, don't order a pre-made meat sandwich like I did before an early morning dive trip. It's not like a sub sandwich we're used to; it was an odd "meat spread" or meat...More
All I heard everyday, "Can we go to Tico's?" Stopped almost daily on our way to the beach for some goodies and then usually on our way for fresh bread and pastries for breakfast. Nice staff, great prices and amazing chicken empanadas. Would definitely recommend...More
This place isn't fancy at all, and it's always hot. But, I can't seem to go wrong with the family by stopping by there. Nothing extra fancy, but donuts, breads, and other items that seem to make people happy.
A very nice variety of pastries and breads. Open early and easy access. You have to know enough Spanish to converse with them though.
Excellent Bakery! This was our first stop every morning for pastry and coffee - all freshly made that morning. Selection varies day to day. Friendly staff. Recommend packing a few snacks from here on the day of/before before departure to avoid the extortionist prices at...More
We stayed in Playas del Coco for a week and made this Tico bakery a part of our morning routine. We mainly had coffee and the cornbread that they made there, which was like a delightful cake. Staff are friendly, but make sure your Spanish...More
A small pastry shop in Playa del Coco. We were looking for a coffee and pastry and this little shop was fine. Not a huge selection but our pastries were fresh and tasty. Good coffee, inexpensive.
We bought many items here, all fresh cooked daily that we took on our day trips and for snacks for our room. Great coconut and banana bread. Also they open at 4:30 am for breakfast. Don't let the outside fool you. A great bakery +
