The Sel et Sucre is a nice place where you easily meet other travellers. There is a livingroom and hammock to hang out and spent an easy time. Also, Sebastian the french owner has an eye on his guests and ensures the nothing goes lost. We can highly recommend this place!

Best hostel in the town. So confortable and the owner Sebastien, his family and André, who la working for them, are all so lovely people. And Sébastien know the country really well so he is full of good advices. Sounds good for all the kind of travelers. So hard to leave!!!

The hostel, even though not incredible, was surprisingly well-designed for its size. Everything that you need is there and it is very clean. The mattresses are really good, there is a living-room bug-free (I haven't seen one of those in a long time), a bike rental is available for 5 dollars a day but you have to wake up early.... More

People who will come to know sel et sucre, you'll know it more as a place to stay rather than eat. The dormitories are very comfortable and clean. However, the owners should make an effort on cleaning the toilets and bathroom more often. Adding hand soap for guests for instance would be a major improvement. This advice also applies to... More
