Food was well prepared and high quality - I think in Costa Rica its customary to just bring dishes out as they are done because we never received all of our meals at the same time in any restaurant including here.

Selvin's serves the very best rondon (seafood casserole) available on the Costa Rican Caribbean coast. Do not miss it, it is a Caribbean delight.

We each had the lobster, but also tasted the rondon (spelling?). I do not like fishy taste and that soup did not taste like fish. It had crap and fish in there, but tasted like the coconut milk. Our lobsters were so good. I would go back there again.

Unless the food is really something special, we can't overlook bad service. Unfortunately, the food was just OK. A friend with us had the soup (Mondon I believe) which our waitress said was the best in Costa Rica. It's basically a fish soup with crab (supposedly) and coconut milk base. One little crabby looking thing that had no meat in... More

Delicious food and quick service! We didnt have to wait long and food was fresh. Most plates include rice and beans which tastes real good. Patacones rock as well.

Was very much looking forward to trying this well reviewed local institution on one of the few days that it opens in the week . When we did we were looked after by a lovely young embarrassed waitress and the menu looked good , but we fancied a pre dinner drink , only to be told that the last bottle... More

We heard about this place and found it, and we were not disappointed! It is right on the main road going through the area and has a nice ambiance. I think it has been there for many years! I can not remember the name of my soup or stew, but it was delicious and affordably priced. Had big chunks of... More

We shared Sea Bass entrees as well as Caribbean chicken and both were tasty. They take credit cards. With a beer & tip bill was about $28 total.

We went to this place based on reviews and did not get disapointed, it is really a wonderful place with epic food and also we had luck because there was live music that day. Best "Rice & Beans" of this trip and the bbq was perfect. Just take in mind that the kitchen close at 8pm so you have to... More

This was recommended to us by the owner (Jon) of the Toucan Stay Inn where we were staying. It was fabulous! great food, beautiful setting & friendly service. It took a little time to get our drinks & meals, but we were enjoying the atmosphere & once we got everything, it was well worth the wait. The "Rondon" was especially... More
