First things first: the allure of finding this place is part of the experience. It's on the main drag next to Mama Mia's pizza but has no sign. You feel, by design, part of something unique. Once you arrive, the actual restaurant is small and looks like a million other little family-owned shacks. Then the entertainment begins. Lazlo (Robbie) makes... More

Went there for dinner and was told it was right next to the visitors information with no sign so we had no problem finding it but others did. The choice were limited but all the choices were great be cause we all had different choices but the best part was the drinks and we told him we did not want... More

I stayed in Puerto Viejo for a week, and the first 5 days people kept telling me to go to Lazlo's and meet him! There is no sign, but you can ask and find it. I don't eat seafood or meat, and they were still able to make a delicious plate for me; my boyfriend said the fish was wonderful... More

No sign for this place but it opens about 6. Right next to Rio Tropicales tourist office. No menu, they just tell you what fish they caught that day. Huge portions, fair price and so so so delicious. The only thing I was sad about was that we ate here our last night! Thanks for a great night and can't... More

The tuna I ate was delicious and fresh, as well as the sea bass, both marinated the same way: a lot of garlic (which I love, but not for everyone) I loved the place and would recommend to others as a spot where you can eat great, not as a place to hang out. It is true what they say... More

Food here is just excellent. They go out fishing every morning so they have a limited stock of fish per day (you should go there at 6 give or take). I had the red snapper which has a garlic, rosemary and parsley crust with homemade French fries and grilled veggies. Everything was really good and the service too! I really... More

The food was great. I did not know the place but my sister took my family and I and we had the best fish in town along with a great margarita. I really appreciate how they treat us and the overall experience. I would totally recomend it but arrive early enough to be able to choose the fish you want.

This is the place to eat if you love simply cooked, but delicious seafood. Lazlo and his team cook whatever they caught that day - no menu, no fuss, no bs. Such a refreshing way to dine. We went four three times, and had Red Snapper, Tuna, Rainbow Runner, and Amber Jack - all super fresh, delicious, very generous portions,... More

It's the second time we came to this place and we left just as happy as the first time. Kingfish was absolutely delicious and so was the barracuda ( I don't know the name in English) . Portions are just right. The place is nothing fancy but the food is what matters. Really a must dinner when in the area
