My boyfriend had a whole snapper with caribbean sauce and I had a rice with seafood dish (almost like a paella). Both were fabulous! The ambience of the restaurant could use a little updating, but with food like that - who cares! Our waitress was helpful and offered a lot of suggestions.

If you are looking for authentic Costa Rican food, this is your place! Place does not look like much, but the food is heavenly! Seafood is really fresh and plenty to choose from and prices are really good!! I'l be back!!

If you want delicious food without a commercialized atmosphere this is the place. Choose from fresh seafood, steak or typical Tico casados they have it all.

Our local guide for the day suggested Mopri. Wide range of items on the menu. The food was great and inexpensive. A little noisy from the construction. Friendly staff too.

Mopri is in the centre of 'Restaurant Row' in Puerto Viejo. The menu is extensive & well priced. Very pleasant, efficient service & for such good quality the below average cost is a nice surprise.

Extensive fish and seafood menu as you would expect. Simple outside seating on the main road. I enjoyed my tuna steak but part of it was slightly overdone. Other friends I was with enjoyed Fish cerviche, Marlin and Red Snapper. Nice fresh fish with a choice of different sauces and accompaniments such as plantain, salad, veggies, chips or rice and... Mopri has a really good little side store where you can buy your own fish to cook. Save money by speaking only in Spanish, and wait your turn, and by directly from the fishermen giving their catch to Mopri. It's the easiest place to find where you get what you pay for. I ate their once - I now by... More

We ate here on our next to last night in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. A tip from our canopy tour guide. He said that it is his favorite restaurant. It was delicious!!! The arroz con camarones was spectacular. The serving was big and very filling. My wife had the whole fried fish. Very tasty!!! The service was excellent and very... More
