Stay d at Miss Julie's. dinner was good. Sauces were awesome! My chicken was kinda overlooked. Also had breakfast here twice. Fruit was great, eggs were good, price included in our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive- they took care of needs right away, but stayed out of the way.

Miss Junie's is at the end of the main drag in Tortuguero. You step off of the path onto the Hotel grounds and it is quiet and relaxing. The open air dining room is awesome and you can hear the ocean as you enjoy dinner. Food was wonderful and the authentic story in the menu about the restaurants founder adds... More

We were wanting an authentic experience and we found it here. This family run business is part of Tortuguero's rich history. Miss Junie and her children welcome visitors and provide simple, clean accommodation set in a spacious waterfront location very close to the village. Overhead fans and large screened and shuttered windows provide a gentle breeze and hammocks outside each... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Staff and service excellent. Very good wifi. No safe, fridge or AC. Good shower. Breakfast and evening meals good although closed during afternoon. Great bars, restaurants etc within half mile walk. No ATM in village. Stay ocean side, quieter, no boat noise from river.

Went there for our last meal last night as recommended by another restaurant owner. Very secluded and quiet, slightly eerie as it's quite dart to walk to and there was only one other table in there (but it is off-season!). Food was delicious! Best we've had since arriving in Costa Rica a week ago. About $15 per person which is... More

My boyfriend and I went there and we really enjoyed our experience. The staff was polite and respectful, the place was clean and the food was good (the rice was well seasoned). Overall it was a little bit pricy but it was good. For the price, it's what you should expect for a touristic place like tortugero. If you go... More

This was the only place we ate out at while we were in Tortuguero. The food was good and authentic Caribbean food. The woman who was working there was really friendly too.
