We wanted a quick, good meal. The staff (all Americans, I think) was friendly and the food was great. We loved the carne asada and Mexican tacos, fish tacos, and the nachos.

Not even close to real Mexican food. They were out of carne asada, so i got pork...and it tasted like starkist tuna in agua. Mojito wasnt mixed; bars shouldnt serve incomplete drinks. It is like serving food not cooked all the way or filling not put on the tortilla. Big disappointment (it is also gringo land i there)

The staff was wonderfully friendly, the view (while not an ocean view) was just a beautiful, and the food was great! Super reasonably priced too! Definitely a great option in the Manuel Antonio option.

Checked out Sancho's because we were craving tacos on the first night of our trip and heard this was the spot... we ended up there 4 nights in a row! The bartenders and staff remembered our names and drinks after one night, we felt like locals. By the way, these tacos are legit and cheap

We went to this place because of the great reviews they had as a cheap place to eat. We were not disappointed. The food is delicious for a great price.

Felt like I was at home at a restaurant in Leucadia. We had to get our Cali Mex fix and Sanchos was just the place. Huge burritos, live music and cold beer. Heaven!

Love everything about this spot. I also ask for vegan Mexican tacos with beans, pico, abocado, and crunchy lettuce or the vegan burrito. Best corn chips in ma too!

We have always wondered about the great reviews garnered by Sancho's, so we decided to try them on our last visit to Manuel Antonio. What a great surprise! All the dishes we tried were great and not particularly expensive. We had take out from Sancho's several times during our stay and were never disappointed.

We returned for lunch 3 times. Nachos and fish tacos were wickedly good and the beer was so cold that the bottles steamed in the heat and humidity. This family run restaurant makes its own delicious tacos, salsas and guacamole.

Description
When we sat down and discussed the menu for Sancho's we agreed the menu had to have 3 things; fresh ingredients, big portions, and in a country where we believe things to be a little bit on the expensive side, fair priced meals. As far as the type of food we serve, people say Mexican, I say Mexican inspired. We make food we enjoy in hopes that our guests feel the same way. A lot of preparation and love goes into each dish that comes out of our kitchen. A majority of our meals do have some level of spiciness to them, if that is your thing give us a try. We have a full bar, we make fresh margaritas, no artificial sour mix in our drinks. Sancho's is a laid back vibe, feel free to come in after the beach and not have to worry about a dress code. We hope you give our little restaurant a try while you are in Manuel Antonio.
