Delicious food, kind people, good music! Walked there on a rainy night because it was close to where we are staying. Would definitely return just for the food.

We had a wonderful dinner of traditional Costa Rican food. The whole grilled sea bass was delicious. The service was excellent. The prices were very good as well.

Wanted local Costa Rican food. Trip Advisor suggested El Arado. The food and service were excellent. Like home cooking. Cheap for what we had. The whole grilled fish was more than enough for 2 and probably enough for 3. Family run, friendly service. Gave us...More

We stopped in here on our way to the beach. We ordered a typical breakfast and it was a large portion and very good. The lady who runs the place and the B&B next door is super friendly.

We ordered our dinners by physically pointing to the items from the casado menu (filet of fish and filet of chicken), the meals came and they were both chicken based! We didn't say anything... When the bill came, we were overcharged (over double the price)...More

This place was awesome. Really tasty "typical food" and amazing pico de gallo, the best I've ever tasted. The family that runs it are super friendly and the location is beautiful right on the hillside. We even got to see some squirrel monkeys while having...More

The food and hospitality is excellent and very well priced. One of our favorite places. Apparently they are on the old road to Manuel Antonio from Quepos so you need to take a side road across from Hotel California.

Fantastic, affordable, delicious food and service. They do not speak English, but that does not hinder your ordering! Nice folks, nice atmosphere and you will feel right at home.

If you are looking for an Authentic Costa Rican meal El Arado is your place! We have no hamburgers or pizza on the menu. Only traditional home cooked meals. Tell your taxi driver we are located on the old road to Manuel Antonio 100 meters south of the hotel Villa Teca.
