We had lunch here- it was fantastic! There is lots of choice on the menu. I had bruschetta which is one of the appetisers. It was a decent portion and really nice. I wasn't sure how big the bruschetta would be so I had nachos with salsa too and they were nice too. The bruschetta was particularly good though! Nice... More

I had casado con pescado, a traditional Costa Rican dish with fresh snapper. Best fish I had in years! Low key local restaurant with awesome quality and service.

We actually ate here twice, even with all the other nearby restaurants being here. My son loved the hamburgers and my wife enjoyed their casados. Perfect place to order some nachos and have a beer.

The place is small with a bar for about 5-6 people and even fewer tables. It is an open air restaurant directly facing the ocean with the corresponding breezes. All day long Los Gemelos (The Twins) experiences steady traffic with a mix of the locals and tourists, and some tourists that decided to be locals after a taste of Manuel... More

Don't let the appearance of this laid back bar/grill fool you. It serves some excellent food that is well priced. We liked it so much we were returning customers, despite the fact that there were many other choices. We tried their grilled and fried red snapper, seafood platter for two, mahi-mahi, quesadillas, chicken casado and banana flambé. Make sure you... More

We waited a long time for our beverages to come (only two of us), and had to ask for them twice. Then, the food (hamburgers) took even longer. The place wasn't busy at the time. When we got our burgers we couldn't eat much of them, as they were red and tasted weird. The only time I got stomach problems... More

Great food and cold beer right opposite the beach. The fish is great and there are lots of fast food options too. One of the few places that seemed to stay open into the night.

We were searching for tex-mex food, and this was the perfect place to stumble upon. We believe that it had the most reasonable prices within the area, and the food was AMAZING. They catered very well to vegetarians. Get the quesadillas!! The service was also exceptional, and when my partner and I encountered someone we thought was dangerous on the... More

Casual atmosphere, we went after spending the day hiking at the National Park. Tables available inside and out. Typical Costa Rican food, and a full bar. My husband had the red snapper and I had shrimp ceviche, good but not spectacular. Nice place to people watch as you cool down with a drink.

We stopped at Gemelos after a tour or MA park. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual atmosphere with tables inside and outside on the main road looking out towads the ocean and the main public beach in MA. The server was very entertaining and friendly. The food was typical Costa Rican and the lunch we had was... More
