The best dishes here are the casados and other local dishes. They're delicious (and enormous!) The batidos are great too, and a nice way to cool off after time at the beach.

When you are at the beach you know your choices will be limited and the prices a bit higher than in the city. Same here, but....I really enjoyed the food here, breakfast was good, lunch and dinner likewise. One of the least expensive options, with typical, well cooked food. We were here for 6 days and ate here regularly.

Good location near the beach and in the center of town sucked me in for breakfast. I was served stale french bread for toast and they had the nerve to charge me $1.40 for butter and $1.40 for jam. The server had absolutely no Pura Vida spirit in her which is very unusual for Costa Rica. My omelette was bland... More

We had lunch here once during our stay - nachos, burgers and fajitas. My husband ordered 2 burgers because he was hungry and when they arrived each burger was about 6" across! Burgers and nachos were good; chicken in the fajitas had a lot of fat and cartilage. Prices and service were on par with other places in town. Returned... More

This is a nice, small cafe right in the center of town. We stopped by for breakfast. The gallo pinto was not as good as other locations in the area, but the prices were cheaper. It's not a bad choice for a quick meal in town. The service was good.

If you like people watching and a decent sized meal then you'll enjoy this place! The food was nice and the service was actually pretty good...

I arrive to Montezuma in a rainy night, did not know Montezuma and did not know where to eat. This place is located in the center of town, it offers vegetarian options, good prices and nice service. I recommend it 100%

we ate food here that I could make at home and I'm not a good cook. Ate dinner when we first arrived. The location of the place is what sucked us in. Good for people watching. Got 2 sandwiches. Mine had tuna, eggs, peppers and something else. It was canned tuna. Very bland. GF got chicken sandwich which was also bland. Small... More

Wish we had hunted around a bit more. Food was cheaper than many places in Montezuma but still a bit pricey for what we got. My Ceviche in particular said it was served with Homemade Bread or Tortillas, instead I got a package of soda crackers :( Ceviche was tasty but the crackers really left a bad impression. My boyfriends... More

Very basic, good food but not high on my list of places for breakfast but not bad either. Try and maybe you get a different opinion but I have eaten at very place from Playa Hermosa to Montezuma.
