Our family enjoyed some terrific pizza after an amazing kayaking trip. You can even enjoy your meal by the water sheltered from the sun. Highly recommend!

Seafood soup with coconut was not well cooked, the focaccia had way too much salt and was not well cooked, almost impossible to eat. Mahi mahi did not have any flavor and sautéd veggies had too much fat and big pieces of garlic.More

Very fresh food prepared from scratch. The large side of fresh vegetables is a treat in a town that doesn’t use much veggies. I had the white fish with orange sauce. The food was just ok. A bit too salty. Somehow the eating area at the terrace looks a bit unorganized or improvised.
Il giardino may be a little pricier than most other Jimenez restaurants, but we had the most memorable and delicious fresh tuna there. Kids had pasta which was ok also.

We had read the fabulous reviews on Tripadvisor which led to our decision to splurge a little on our last night in Puerto Jimenez. Therefore, we went with great expectations of delicious Italian food. There were four of us and we ordered the following: the...raviolini with pumpkin, the chicken fajitas in curry sauce, the mushroom ravioli, and a marguerita pizza. The homemade pasta was terrible as it was thick and leathery and there was very little filling in the very large folded-over pieces of pasta. The chicken in the fajitas was tough and chewy although the vegetables were perfectly prepared--crisp and crunchy. The pizza was okay except for the tough crust--not what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The waiter was friendly and sitting outside overlooking the bay on a night with a full moon was lovely. It was really too bad that the food did not at all live up to the reviews.More
The owner of this place is delightful! Very friendly and welcoming. We met him previously. Our server the night we went wasn't. He stopped in the middle of taking our order to talk to a friend on the street, then didn't know items that were...on the menu and got our order wrong. It was ok, because all of the food was amazing! Very fresh ingredients, seafood, housemade pasta and pizza. Very flavorful and satisfying. It was all delicious. I would return just for the food, despite the service.More
