We were making our way by bus from San Jose to Aranjuez (a tiny little town north of Puntarenas) to visit friends. Lucky to have stumbled across this place! This family of 5, with kids ranging from 16-20 yrs old was getting sick of the food at the resort so we walked across to Bungalow. Our kids all had a dish they loved. We were Instantly treated amazingly! Christian and Diego are top notch...people! The ceviche—-delish! They explained everything on the menu, helped us pick fantastic dishes and talked to our kids about the country. We LOVED this place!!! We stayed for hours just chatting. We drove to Puntarenas from San Jose and arrived just in time for lunch. This is a very clean restaurant located across from the entrance to the Fiesta resort. The menu is quite varied and extensive, it made choosing difficult, everything sounded so good. We...finally settled on the breaded shrimp plate and we’re not disappointed. We received a very generous portion of freshly cooked shrimp, tartare sauce, salad and fries. It was all delicious and we highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. Every meal we saw served while we were there were nicely presented and generous portions. The servers were very friendly and courteous too.More
