Good pizza at this place and we found the staff to be quite helpful/nice. It's not the greatest restaurant in the world, but for the area it's pretty good :) I would check it out and see how you like it, especially if you enjoy pizza.

Last year our family discovered D'Amalfi when we were in Costa Rica. My boys always ordered the same thing - one pepperoni pizza, and one cheese pizza. I always ordered the chicken ceasar salad. Each time (3 or 4 times total) we ate there, we enjoyed the food, but were always puzzled why the restaurant wasn't more crowded. When we... More

A week ago I had a ravioli dish at D'Amalfi in Escazu, Costa Rica: not the best but worth a repeat. The following week I had the same dish for lunch. It had undergone a change in one week: not as good as the week before, but o.k.; yesterday I ordered ravioli again, and this time it was terrible. What... More

We were just back from a week in the jungle and had lunch here.My friend is a vegetarian and they made a special effort to make her pasta and vegetables. I had a delicious seafood risotto, both dishes were freshly prepared. The service was lovely and relaxed and we had a nice leisurely lunch.

NOBODY in the place. we ordered 2 things lasagne and a pasta dish asked for extra basil... More

First off, I'll just mention that I'm a local. My wife and I get our groceries nearby and decided to drop into D'Amalfi for a lunchtime pizza. Wow, was that ever a big mistake. So we get there at around 1, sit down in a corner booth (one thing I will say is it's a nice looking restaurant) and then... More

These guys know how to make pizza. I am not a fan of thin crust, so every time I order I just ask them to make it thick, which they gladly do. The pizza is awesome.. its fresh and it tastes delicious. Hands down one of my favorites pizza joints in CR.

Medium sized Italian restaurant in a small shopping mall (Plazo Atlantis) in San Rafael - found it based on internet ratings and comments. Very professional table/waiter service - entrees were great - salmon and meat lasagna - it's only been there < than one year
