Terrific experience. We went during the rainy season but were lucky when for a short while the clouds opened up and we saw the sparkling lights of the city of San Jose. Spectacular! The Italian style seafood was extraordinary. I ordered slightly off the menu and was greeted with a smile and a dish much better and on point than... More

I am a foreigner living in Costa Rica and this has always been on my bucket list. Unfortunately I had not had the chance to visit until two of my best friends came to visit from my country. I thought this was the place to take them and I was right, the amiability of the waiter was beyond incredible as... More

Don Manuel opened my 22 year old bottle of Spanish Wine (Reserva Navarro) with great care, explaining in detail the particulars of removing an aged cork. Proceeded by pouring wine into two decanters, thereby allowing sediment (due to aging) to settle at the bottom of one decanter. Excellent explanation of the nuances of the wine its "legs" and the reason... More

Slightly over priced. Food is good, but considering you can get equally great food for a fraction of the price at the bottom of the hill, you have to accept that your paying for the view.

Fantastic view of the city, excellent positioning of the tables, made more enjoyable by opening the sliding windows. Manuel explained the incoming fog and how it would dissipate with the breeze, allowing the enjoyment of the panoramic view. We enjoyed the Mixed Antipasto, along with a fine bottle of Merlot. All in all, a very enjoyable experience...

I visited this restaurant with my date. The view was amazing and the service great. The dinner was great too, although I paid $100+ for a dinner for two it's a bit too much. We definitely had a blast here.

Great view from this restaurant. Had lunch which was very good. The prices were on the high side but the service was good. Little advice.... If you are driving up there, make sure you have a 4 wheel drive under you. We're talking 45 degree inclines.

Made reservation over the phone from the U.S. Spoke to Manual to reserve a table overlooking city for my Wife's Birthday. I requested flowers at the table also. Manual was very polite, and accommodating and didn't ask for any funds in advance. When we arrived my expectations were met beyond belief ! The view of the city was outstanding. The... More

This is for sure one of the best views we ever head in restaurant. The whole city San Jose is lying in front of you, it doesn't matter if you come at day when you can see the volcanoes or at night when you see all the lights. If you expect a high class restaurant this is maybe not the... More
