Basic ice cream. No more no less. Basic tastes and service. In our happy days of Italian and specialty ice cream everywhere Pops remains a place for kids to sit in the evening. To stop with kids on the way. It is harder to find specialty ice cream in Costa Rica but with a little effort you can nowadays. So... More

When I say "Very Good" - I preface it with "for Costa Rica" as based on MY taste buds (having lived in San Francisco for 17 years, had a business in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico & traveled a LOT so I DO have a fair amount of experience on some better quality foods) - it's one of the better ones in... By far the best ice cream company in Costa Rica. The made all their ice creams with local fruits, milk, and they produce everything they need to create the delicious ice creams. I love the fruit shakes. Is not the cheapest, but hey, quality is never cheap.

Forget about famous gelatos (a lot in San Jose), this is a different kind of ice cream. They have fun flavors and the quality is constantly good. Highly recommend it! Try the Cocles while it is in their menu.

Went here several times. Pricey for me.... you can go to less known places and get bigger scoops for about the same price. The actual flavorous are fine. The selection is pretty good. If you are in San Jose or another big city try cosecos instead. :)

I live 22 km SE from Jaco, Costa Rica on the Pacific Coast and the best ice-cream comes from "POPS". They use real cream and fresh ingredients. I buy my ice-cream from "POPS" in Herradura 5 km Northwest of Jaco. Their ice-cream selection is very good, I buy the 1 litre bucket to take home. I have read some of... More

Whole milk ice cream with great natural flavors. Try the coffee, mango, coconut, and pistachio flavors.

I like this place. They have the feel of the old creameries. They still serve milk into your cup with a ladle which I like... Ice cream selection is pretty good, however the price difference between a cone and plastic cup is very big to my opinion. Plastic cup costs almost $1.5 more than a cone. I really miss French...
