I went to Lukas in a Sunday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the location and the service. The steak was outstanding!!

Lukas used to be a premium restaurant in Costa Rica back in the 90s and 80s. Currently it resists trends and it remains as the only decent business in El Pueblo (shopping center) a totally dated spot that’s just counting its days to be demolished...More
We have eaten at Restaurante Lukas for many years. It is a must stop on our trips to Costa Rica. We get the Baby Lukas with rice and beans. The baked "platano" is the best I have eaten.
The restaurant considers itself a steak restaurant and the menu is heavily focused beef, but has a nice overall selection including chicken, fish and salads. Their versions of "churrasco" and "filet" are not the same as in the US, but there are large portions of...More
I recently ordered the tico tacos and was extremely disappointed the fact that there was practically no meat in them. I will say that they had a very good venue and the plates of all the guests surrounding me all look great.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. Good choice but aimed at the American market with huge portions-1 steak meal is enough for 2. Tender steaks but i don't think they are cooked on a parilla-just fried so no grill taste.good choice of drinks.
Great seafood with a good variety of dishes. I had the corvina (sea bass). Order the patacones fried plantains. Great service as well
Visited on our last night with a large party. Service was ok. food there was plenty and a good variety on the menu, however more expensive than other restaurants we had been to.
