Such a special treat!! We arrived at 2130 and were still treated to an amazing meal. Our subsequent meals were equally delicious! The menu is diverse. Meals can be made vegetarian without issue. We love this restaurant! Each meal at this restaurant is a treat!!!

We stayed at the hotel before departing for airport next morning. The bar is gorgeous, dinner with interesting selections of highest quality and one of the most decadent breakfasts ever; mango stuffed French toast with whip cream!!

I made the mistake of spending too much time at the first floor... The main exhibit, the original artwork made by pre-Columbian indigenous is located in the 3rd level of the basement, that’s where you want to spend most of your time.

Restaurante Grano de Oro is a very good fine-dining restaurant located within an up-class hotel. The ambiance and decor are first rate, the service is excellent, and the menu is nicely varied. The taste of the food? Not so special. While nothing was especially wrong...More

The service and food are superb. It is over average. You need reservation because sometimes can be crowded. It has a ramp and elevator for wheel chairs and people having stair’climbing stairs.

Costa Rica is a very informal place. He will not need a jacket but I would not go there in shorts during dinner. But otherwise no one will bother you if you wear jeans or other informal wear.
