Good coffee. Also do selection of sweet and savoury pastries. unfortunately our berry scone was really really soggy on the bottom. The spinach and feta croissant more like a sausage roll. but a good place to break anchorage to seward journey. easy parking.

On your way from Anchorage to Seward or Homer you will find this little bakery that has superb homemade doughnuts, APPLE FRITTERS, blueberry muffins, and reasonable coffee. Great snack or breakfast. Also note the Russian mother and child Icon from St Petersburg hanging on the wall.

A bit expensive by AK standards, strange dough for the doughnuts, Great coffee. Not much else to say.

Its getting harder and harder to find a good bakery anymore, so on a wet and cold September morning it hit the spot..thought there selection was great and my creame filled was perfect, my wife's apple fritter could have had a little more apple in it, but all in all I wish we had spot like this back home.

We were going to stop at the gas station for a quick breakfast before the day's activities. We saw Alpine Bakery in the same shopping center and went in on a whim. It was early enough that all the pastries were still warm. The blueberry fritter was to die for. My husband said the donuts were great too. My cappuccino... More

The bakery is located just off the Seward Highway south of Anchorage a bit less than an hour. It's a good place to stop for a variety of reasons. The bakery is one of those reasons. They make a bunch of different things that will either tie you over on your drive further south, or will treat you at the... More

We stopped on our way from Anchorage to Seward, and on the way back 😊 My favorites are the blueberry fritter and Bavarian cream. Love the "vintage" donut options. They also have giant cookies, muffins, Danishes and specialty coffees.

In addition to great coffee, they had a great selection of large baked goods -- huge cookies, brownies and berry fritters. Friendly service.

We have been to Alaska four times in the past six years and each time we come to Alaska my husband has at the top of ,his agenda to stop in Girdwood for Apple and Blueberry fritters. This last trip wasn't any different. We stopped on our way to Cooper Landing and he bought one of each of his favorite... More

We were here on our first trip to Alaska 4 years ago. When my husband told me we would be returning to Girdwood during this trip, the 1st thing I did was to check to see if this bakery was still operating. To my great relief, it was. I immediately began plotting my first purchase. We were in Girdwood 3... More
