This trip I had the Oatmeal for a quick breakfast. The way they do it is the best Ive ever had loaded with fresh fruit. The wait staff is always friendly and I really enjoy their service.

Great food and my server Bob was so kind and attentive! He consistently checked on me and made sure I enjoyed my meal. Thank you Bob.

Had breakfast here-an Elk dish that was well prepared and very tasty. Bob, my waiter, was very good with menu recommendations and never let my coffee cup get empty. Well done!

Just plain out terrible service when ever I needed something I was ignored. Got my toast after I was all done eating and they were also serving lunch and only gave me a choice to look at the breakfast menu.

Rarely when I travel do I go to the same place twice in the same trip but I have to thank Holly, waitperson extraordinaire for her magic touch! You feel like you are family and when you are in a tourist city such as Juneau, it makes the meal all the more special. The food was plentiful, well cooked and... More

Seems as if breakfast spots are hard to find but the Capital Café serves traditional hearty breakfast and has great coffee too.

The Northern Lights scrambled eggs were quite tasty but the reindeer sausage did not taste like venison. Very prompt and friendly service.

I had a simple American breakfast here and it was perfect. Over medium eggs cooked to perfection, bacon, hash browns, toast. Coffee was ok. Service was top notch.

A small, busy cafe with great food. I have had the Elk Has more than once and I love it. Another great dish is the Midnight Sun breakfast.

I've been here many times now and always good food. It is small, but turnover is fairly quick and waitstaff are very accommodating. If you have a larger group (6 or more) you may want to call first since most tables are meant for 2-4. We went with our grandkids and son/daughter-in-law for a 10 a.m. breakfast and were seated...
