I walked in here and it felt like the boom-times of my young adulthood. Dark Wood! Alaskana decor! Eye-watering prices! The food was excellent - we had beer batter halibut, and a halibut/salmon grill. Too much to eat- it was good as leftovers. Get here early and check out the park next door.

As far as I'm concerned there is nothing else on the menu...well maybe the chowder. The prime rib steak bites are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is definitely Alaskan, the service is stellar. Do go early or prepare to wait.

This is an excellent full service restaurant with great atmosphere service. I had four different meals, breakfast, lunch and two dinners all of which were outstanding! It is a bit pricey but the amount of food you receive, more than makes up for the price.

The menu has well worn out it's run. We have visited Louie's in a 5 year span and the menu has stayed the exacted same - even the same specials are just rotated. Needs updating. On our last visit my wife and I ordered the Shrimp Tempura and wow were they so over cooked one could hardly chew them. Louie's... More

We visited Lonie's several times while on the Kenai. It is still the best place to dine on the Kenai ... ask anyone.

Lots of taxidermy on the walls. Lots of local hanging out having dinner. Classic steak and seafood menu. (I would go with the standard steak, not the blackened steak. The "cajun" spicing was not that great and overwhelmed the meat. The meat was cooked to perfection).

I had their hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry and green beans. All that was missing was some stuffing, which would have made a great addition. My spouse has celiac, their menu was a challenge. Our waitress seemed offended and defensive when asked if they had gluten free options. A cheeseburger, no bun and coleslaw ended up being... More

The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The food was good and abundant too. We ordered salmon and the broasted chicken. We definitely had enough leftovers accommodate dinner needs the following night. There are all kinds of trophy animals and fish mounted on the wall which definitely made this an Alaskan experience.
