The Point combines a coffee/tea house, cafe, and art gallery that's located in a very scenic spot along Ketchikan's waterfront :)). The well lit interior has large windows to enjoy the boat activity while eating yummy sandwiches, soups, and other foods... their coffee is similarly tasty as well. The walls are adorned with works from local artists, and there's live... More

We went to The Point to meet our friend, Sandy, an artist and resident of the area. While waiting, we enjoyed coffee (a latte' for me) and split an amazing cookie... all crafted to 'melt in your mouth' perfection. The Point is owned by and features the work of Alaskan painter, Terry Pyles, and features a variety of works of... More

We enjoyed lunch here while on a recent visit to Ketchikan. The location is perfect and we enjoyed watching the boats as well as the float planes while eating. The soup was a carrot soup that day and it was delicious along with a cheese sandwich. They had more to choose from and offered delicious homemade cookies for dessert. While... More

I love having lunch at a community table on Wednesday and Friday at the Point. They have music groups that come to play and you will meet the most interesting people. Love their sweet potato peanut soup, grilled cheese sandwich and Barb's famous lemon poppyseed cookies. Just a fun place to have a really nice lunch.

Upon seating, the waitress offered a menu of sandwiches and freshly made soups. The bread is made fresh daily. The soups change daily too. They give small samples of the soups. I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I went here for lunch. The sandwiches were very good as was the soup. It was a little spendy, but I guess that's to be expected.

The food was average but the price was very expensive. The view was the most appealing part of this place.

I've heard great things about The Point from my friends in Ketchikan and I couldn't resist bringing my sister and her boyfriend to it when they visited me this summer. The inside is beautiful, with stunning art on display and for sale. The service was fantastic with exceptional coffees, teas, and little dishes. They have a few classic board games... More
