Lovely place, full of old times' charm, looking just like a setting of a winter tale, with all the goodies and grandma's decorations. Highly recommended!

One of the loveliest places I have been to in Sighisoara with an unexpected set up and diverse local sweets alongside coffee, drinks and natural juices, also made there. It is like a story you get to live in and for an hour you can escape the real world and go there and take a break. It is a must... More

During a stopover in Sighișoara, we ate lunch there - I had a salad and my friend had the ribs (I think) with pickles on the side. We drank elderberry and regular lemonade. I cannot say I found anything memorable - the lady who was waiting on us was really nice and helpful, but the food was underwhelming. The inside... More

Casa Cositorarului is a 5 rooms boutique hotel with medieval furniture located between the walls of the old citadel in the heart of it. If you like the ancient spaces (narrow stairs, high ceilling, old furniture) you'll probably be in Paradise! The restaurant is in same style. The sweets are realy GREAT! On a scale from 0-100 I'll quote them... More

Cositorarului House is the dream of every visitor and it's definitely a place I will keep fondly remembering. Spacious rooms decorated with original very good taste, a gorgeous and very comfy bed and the best location from the citadel. Awesome breakfast, almost fine dining with products home made, prepared by staff, extraordinarily attentive to meet any customer desire.

We ordered a traditional plateu for two and when it arrived (after a very long time and some ignores from the staff) we received a small plate of some random slices of salami and sausages combined with some polenta with cheese and sour cream. This was a TERRIBLE combination and we left the place with disgust.

We walked in off the street, hoping to get some lunch before our trip back to Bucharest. We sat down at a dirty table, were told they had no English menu, and the only 'food' items available were salads, and they would take about 30 minutes to prepare, as they were quite busy. We ended up ordering cakes and coffee... More
