Beautiful old watermill, just outside the walls, in a lovely setting. The food is fantastic, I had an amazing fish dish; but all our meals were first class. Service was efficient, top drawer and very friendly. The restaurant was traditional, clean & comfortable. Couldn't fault anything.

It's not easy to find, and it is not spot in the center of avila, but el molino is a charmer. Located in a medieval mill along the river, the outside in spring or summer is delightful with gardens, cascades and plenty of ducks and geese swimming about. The food and service are first rate. The roasted lamb is excellent,... More

well served tables with enough room, plenty of space per person, very nice and supportive staff. Good wine selection. Excellent food quality. Traditional dishes are very large so you can easily share. Waiters usually are recommending pretty good in that sense. Deserts are maybe the weakest part of the restaurant carte.

We dropped in to El Molino by chance on a hot afternoon in June after visiting Los Cuatro Postes, attracted by the prospect of enjoying some cold drinks and tapas while sitting at a table in the shade of a tree at the edge of a duckpond. And we weren't disappointed when we were offered complementary sliders with our vino... More

We had walked along the river and happened upon El Molino de la Losa and went in for a quick cerveza - 2 hours later we left, very full having tried almost all of the tapas choices! The restaurant / bar has a large and beautiful garden on the river, plus an interesting restaurant set within the molino. The tapas... More

This restaurant is situated just out of the walls of Avila and is an ancient watermill with beautifull surroundings. We went on a Wednesday and luckely we reserved a table. The restaurant was full around 2.30 pm. After a very nice and professional waiter welcomed us with a treat (mashed potatoes with tomato puree and tocino), we enjoyed a Sopa... More

We literally fell on this restaurant as we walked across the river ..the ambiance and service was fantastic . We both had the suckling pig which was to die for . We were surprised more people weren't there. The wine list was great and the waiter was delightful

A very pretty restaurant on the water with super sweet service and great food. Not expensive but classy. Go there you won't be disappointed but remember the Spanish eat lunch at 2/3pm and dinner at 9/10pm so if you go early it will be empty and dead

This place gets a start from Frommers and does OK here in Tripadvisor so we gave it a go. Service is quite good and portions are large (too large, in my opinion) but the value is not so good. Appetizers at around 15 Euros and up, mains start at around 20 Euros. Dinner for 3 with one glass of wine... More
