Last night we had a wonderful dinner in Gonu restaurant. Amazing service, super friendly, attentive and helpful staff, amazing fresh and well prepared food( neither underdone nor overdone) which is very important when it comes to seafood . Will definitely recommend

Been a fairly regular visitor to Le Meridien Al Aqah for 10 years (spent Christmas ‘22 there this visit) and Gonu is probably my favourite restaurant at the hotel. Right on the beach, tasty food (oysters, lamb rack, or rib-eye cooked beautifully and taste amazing),...great service - lunch or dinner, laid back atmosphere - what is not to love! Whole team excellent but Prince deserves the mention - top man in every way. Cannot wait until our next visit.More
Are two dives with Al Boom we had lunch at Gonu Bar & Grill at the Le Meridien Hotel. We all had the Gonu because it is the best burger in UAE. It is simply the best way to end an amazing day in Fujairah....Service and food is fantastic.More

Had lunch & dinner most days on recent holiday. Oysters, prawns, mussels, fresh fish, steaks & best of all the lamb chops. Great staff & always welcomed with a smile. The location is also stunning

The Gonu Grill and Seafood Restaurant is located on the beach within the Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort. It is one of the five or six restaurants currently operating within the resort. We reserved a table for our large party of seven directly facing...the sea. During our great dinner we received top service, fantastic assorted seafood dishes and the sounds of the pounding waves in the background! What more does one require? I started with a plate of the “Local Dubai Oysters” and then had a pot of fresh black mussels. My family had an assortment of the extremely large and tasty Omani Shrimp and a surf-and-turf plate, etc. I strongly suggest you reserve a sea facing table and really enjoy the incredible food. All in all our meal was extraordinary!More

We went in June which is probably the worst month for humidity. They have fans but it was not helping. The food was excellent and the staff did their best to keep us cool. I think this would be an incredible restaurant in the winter...season.More

I had a good experience in Gonu restaurant Amazing food and excellent service, The place for sitting next to the beach, ocean views and amazing locally grown oysters. Gonu bar and grill was the final restaurant of le meridian that we went too and had...a great experience. The atmosphere was perfect being sat at the sea front with a nice sea breeze.
