Nice Sunday brunch. Nothing seems to be a bother for the staff - they are lovely even when busy. My Mocha was hot - often they are luke warm. Great omelets to be had - chock a block with the 3 fillings and at a great price. Would be nice if they had a slice of toast as standard but... More

Friendly service on a really busy morning. Coffee was good, and was easy to create a special breakfast order. Pricing very good.

We had lunch on a Saturday, great friendly staff and food was excellent. The Olivers chicken salad and BLAT was yummy. Average cafe prices. Great location opposite the beach.

A pleasant cafe opposite the beach, Olivers offers both indoor and outdoor (at the paved area out front, looking across the road to a grassed area and the beach beyond) seating options. On a lovely sunny Saturday morning, it was very popular and all of the outdoor tables were taken, but we managed to get a table for the four... More

We stopped here for an early lunch and had the steak sandwich, it was very tasty! Staff very friendly and service was good. It's also in a good location. My sister took me here when I was visiting, I would definitely go back.

All restaurants have the occasional slip up. It's how they handle the complaint that counts. In my case I ordered the Burrito. The service was quick and efficient and although the Burrito was well presented and tasty it was spoilt by me having to dismantle the Burrito to cut gristle from the beef. My subsequent complaint was treated with utmost... More

Poached eggs on toast with bacon as a side. Very nice, just hit the spot after leaving Auckland at 9 am. Eat outside with a view of water across the road.

This is one of those places that try hard but just miss some details and consequently miss out on being excellent. While many of the other cafe's are closed at 7.30 on Saturday morning this one was open and quite busy. Worth a visit but disappointingly a van was parked right in front thus obscuring the view of the sea

My family stopped at Orewa enroute to the Bay of Islands, in January 2017. We decided to take the detour so as to have a break and some lunch. Orewa is a very popular spot with lovely long beaches, nice shops and a real tourist vibe. After a short walk around we dedided to have lunch at Oliver's Cafe, which... More
