Tammy will share the history of the town and the restaurant; the cook/owner is the granddaughter of Joe and Aggie. Going there is like stepping back in time. I had sausage and eggs with red and green sauce. Fabulous. It wouldn't be a trip to...More

Stopped here mid morning for a coffee ( hopefully pecan pie ) Unfortunately no pies, but as this is an old american Mexican cafe, Aggie was more than helpful, & rustled up some fruit filled cheerios with ice cream, got to say these really hit...More

6/16/17 This experience was abysmal on many levels. The food was substandard, the dinners (5) were simply microwaved in plastic containers. Mine burned through the bottom. 3 containers melted. The food smelled of plastic, and would have been disappointing fare to begin with. The owner...More

I stopped in here for lunch due to it's long history on Route 66, but my experience was a bit disappointing. Service was slow (part of which was due to a new waitress being trained) and the staff not very engaging. Food was so-so -...More

Food was average, nothing that stands out. However the owner was so engaging with the history of the area and her cafe, it was very refreshing to be a part of her passion. It is a special place and we were happy to have been...More

We went there as a recommendation and I'm recommending you don't. There is quaint and nostalgic, this is just old, run down and cluttered. The salads were simply the shredded lettuce they use on tacos and diced canned tomatoes. I ordered the chili and it...More

Nicely decorated for the era (Route 66 theme) there was a nice vibe in this diner. The food was however average.

We stopped after reading reviews on trip advisors and were extremely disappointed. Only think hot was the plate. Food was reheated in a microwave. Couldn't find the tamales under all the sauce and melted cheese and once found they were cold and tasteless. The ground...More

Had dinner here on a Monday night. It was not too busy and we were seated right away. I ordered a combination plate with enchilada and taco. My dinner guest had the nachos supreme. The chips and salsa came with our beers, but we did...More

Sorry can not help.
There will be a group of 10 of us going to Holbrook next Thursday. We are considering Joe & Aggie's Cafe for dinner. Do you think this restaurant is able to accommodate us easily and efficiently? Thanks
