Coco Bongo is quite a sophisticated eating place. The food is really freshly made, and the staff know their jobs. The live music certainly makes the vibe in this venue different to other places.

What a sad sight to see that Coco Bongo at Monte Casino has closed and there will now be a new restaurant. I have had only great evenings there. I would have recommended getting a table upstairs on the weekend as there is a live band and you can even dance along sometimes. Then there is the bar (albeit smoking)... More

This place has a good reputation and recommended so we were surprised to be disappointed. The seafood I ordered especially the prawns were not prepared properly...dry and no flavour! Not value for money at all. This restaurant used to be good many years ago.

Awesome food, amazing serice. Great atmosphere. Correct tabling inside sets scene for a seriously romantic evening. Servings are extremely generous. Above average food. Overall EXCELLENT for couples

The setting is pretty awesome. A lovely upbeat funky looking restaurant. The food however was bland, the portions way to small for the price. Service was poor, our waitress forgot about us for over an hour and a half. We could have walked away and not paid and no one would have noticed or bothered.

One of the better restaurants in Monte Casino although reservations are recommended for a balcony table. I ate there with South African Friends and they recommend Coco Bongo for price, quality and service. The menu is very comprehensive but limited options for vegetarians. There is a good choice of beers and wines and these a competitively priced. Recommend diners eat... More
