Visited LM on a few occasions. They definitely specialise in fish dishes. Food is nicely prepared and always fresh. You can see that the locals enjoy the place as well. Will always go back for more!! Old Mozambique relives!!

We had a family celebration of 2 birthdays. There were 10 of us and were the only people in the place. The prawns were recommended and most of us had them. They were dry and overcooked- the sauces were decidedly dubious especially the peri-peri which was almost black in colour and had a thick dark mass at the bottom of... More

We had a year end function, and had a great time. The food was excellent and the service quick and friendly.

I decided to take my mother to lunch and LM in the East is always a great place to go. As it was a public holiday, I was quite surprised at how empty the restaurant was. The livers, as always were a win. The chicken and prawn combo I have was good and the calamari my mom had was great.... More

My husband and I used to go to this restaurant before we immigrated to the USA. THEIR CHICHEN LIVERS PERI-PERI is still a dish I crave after 32 years!!! I have tried to emulate it but have not succeeded. We paid a visit last year and were not disappointed. If you haven't tasted it you should go there. It's always... More

With friends we spend two nights in Pretoria on arrival before heading off to the Kruger Park, as always I like to visit LM in the East whenever I am in town. We enjoyed a great meal with seamless service and excellent wine. Always delivers.

Great value for money, great service, George is great and is willing to speak Afrikaans and knows his specials, wine glass always full, of course the prawns stole the show. To be a new local for prawns.

Thanks to Don and his team at LM in the East. Has been a long time favorite and still is. One of the few restaurants with a pub style bar.

We were referred to by a friend and what a surprize. I t is not a big restaurant but was packed fully. The waiters have been there for a while and all of them know what they are doing. They are professional yet very warm and friendly. That restaurant operates like a well oiled machine! We had a starter of... More

We took our Australian friends there for dinner. We often take overseas guests to this traditional restaurant. We thorougly enjoyed it. We like the good selection of seafood and meat dishes. The ambience and service is good.
