We were a group of 8 gents form the retirement estate. The restaurant has a very good reputation, and it was the first time there for some of us. We had a private dining area, echos a lot when talking, seated at a huge table for probably 12+. Made conversation a bit awkward. We all had beers, no craft brews... More

Located in quiet far eastern side of Pretoria, away from the hectic urban set up. Each time I visit you came back refreshed. The food is of very highest quality. If its luxury you want, then its luxury you get.

5 Star? ? Very overrated? It may have been the case in the 90's but the place looks very used and in need of a makeover. At its best I would give it 3 stars Max.

We were invited by family to have Sunday Lunch at the restaurant, what an awful experience. Firstly they did not have the red wine that we wanted to order that was on their wine list. The waiter could also not tell us what wines they have per glass although the wine list says enquire at your waiter for wine by... More

We had one of the best dinners there! It was really nice evening with very good service, but the icing on the cake was the food! I had a fish, my husband- pork belly, which I never order, but for the first time I wanted to exchange our orders! It was melting in the mouth And desserts were as good... More

There is nothing after 9.30pm. No restaurant, no bar, no room service. We booked in a group and wanted to socialise. We were sent to our rooms and told to have a drink from the minibar. The mini bar was poorly stocked with no wine or snacks.

The rooms are lovely and the food very tasty. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Conference food was cold, but I have mentioned it and am sure they will improve on that

Restaurant on the same property and "home" of Mario Moggia from days gone by. Good restaurant with fine dining. Interesting menu with very good food. Worth a visit.

Excellent quality of food. Sufficient variety of food on the menu (too much selection is not good). Well presented. Very quiet and if you are dining with children, as we often do, it would be nice to have a bit of background music. Magnificent wines. Still one of Pretoria's best kept secrets and I hope it stays that way.
