Our family was heading out of Kingman on Route 66 towards Sitgreaves Pass and Oatman, and we stopped at Mr. D'z for breakfast. This diner was recommended by Sam at El Trovatore, and he did not steer us wrong. Mr. D'z is a great, retro diner with friendly waitstaff and delicious breakfast selections. The restaurant was clean and (contrary to... More

We chose this diner because it had a lot of variety on the menu. Besides burgers, hot dogs, and fries, they had several sandwiches, salads, and even pizza. The food was just "okay". Nothing dazzled us, but most of it was edible. However, the place looked old and dirty and the bathroom was especially filthy. Next time you're in Kingman... More

Food was great and service was prompt even though they were very busy. Staff and other visitors were friendly and our family just loved the ROOT BEER! It is the best.

We had seen this diner on many trips through Kingman and finally had an opportunity to stop. While this is a fun little place to have lunch, the food is pretty average. On the down side, the bathrooms were pretty disgusting, which could be easily fixed with a good cleaning and regular upkeep. It was enough to earn this establishment... More

Normally when driving to Vegas we turn north on SR93 (W Beale St) but those in the vehicle wanted Gelato (Ice Cream) and so we headed south. Being across from the train tracks on old RT 66 makes this fun place to remember the days of our youth and watch the trains go by. The Ice Cream is cold and... More

If you're ever in Kingman you have to eat at Mr. D's Diner. Great food, great service, cute decor. Servers were friendly and responsive. Feels retro. Choose your seat in a booth, at a table or at the counter. Interior was neat and clean. Really enjoyed our visit.

The food was delicious, waitress was friendly and helpful. The prices were average and the location was good. We enjoyed the old 50's music and the décor was fun too! The bathrooms could use some work.

Slow service/no service.. the waitress delivered flat soda and disappeared until our food was brought out. When we asked for a different type of soda the waitress said all of their sodas would be flat if that one was... so we got water instead. The food arrived and was not satisfying to say the least. We both got burgers and... More
